THE ASTROLOGY OF TOM CRUISE’S FOUR
SIGNIFICANT LOVE AFFAIRS

Tom Cruise was born July 3, 1962.
For more than two decades, Cruise has been a Hollywood icon. He has been the star of blockbuster movies like Top Gun and Mission Impossible.
Tom has been a superstar actor for about two decades, during which time Tom Cruise has married three women and had a very serious love affair with a fourth.
Cruise first married Mimi Rogers but got divorced after only a few years and then married Nicole Kidman. He divorced Nicole after a nearly ten-year marriage and then he had a two-year affair with Penelope Cruz. He is now married to Katie Holmes. Katie is the only woman with whom Tom has had a natural child; Tom and Nicole adopted two kids.
Cruise is a Cancer. Traditional Astrology asserts that the typical Cancer falls in love easiest with a Scorpio or Pisces. But none of Tom’s four women were born under either of those two signs. Mimi is an Aquarian, Nicole is a Gemini, Penelope is a Taurus and Katie is a Sagittarius.
Once again, Traditional Astrology is a total bust when it comes to the astrology of love, sex and money. Traditional Astrology cannot explain why Tom fell in love with Mimi, Nicole, Penelope and Katie.
But Magi Astrology can. By using the principles of Magi Astrology, we can understand the why and how of all four of Tom’s serious love affairs.
Traditional Astrology claims we fall in love because of the placement of our natal planets in various signs. This is nonsense. Look at Tom Cruise.
Magi Astrology informs us that we are most likely to fall in love because of the alignment of the planets – that we fall in love with someone whose planets align with our own planets to make great linkages, especially Romance Linkages.
Tom Cruise is a perfect example of how amazingly accurate Magi Astrology is when it comes to the astrology of love and sex.
According to the principles of Magi Astrology, when a couple’s natal planets make linkages, especially Romantic Linkages, the couple is more likely to feel romantic attachment and fall in love.
It follows that the more Romantic Linkages a couple has with each other, the more likely the couple will fall in love. For example, if a woman makes more Romantic Linkages with Tom Cruise than another woman does, the woman making more linkages is more likely to get Tom’s attention.
How do you tell what woman that will be? That is easy – just look at her natal chart.
In the case of Tom Cruise, there are specific locations in his chart where a woman can form the most linkages – these locations are called the MAXIMUM LINKAGE LOCATIONS. Below we will explain what this is all about.
Tom Cruise was born with an extraordinary alignment of planets; he has a quadruple Grand Trine. Below is a MagiAstroChart of the day he was born.
Tom Cruise has four Grand Tines formed by his natal Sun, Jupiter, Neptune, Chiron and Juno. If a woman has a major planet that is conjunct to Tom’s Sun or Jupiter or Neptune or Chiron or Juno, then that woman makes lots of linkages with Tom. This means that Tom is likely to be very attracted to a woman born with a major planet that is conjunct to Tom’s Sun, Jupiter, Neptune, Chiron or Juno because then, the woman forms lots of linkages with Tom.
If for example any woman’s natal Venus is conjunct to Tom’s Sun or Jupiter or Neptune or Chiron or Juno, then that woman’s Jupiter is making more linkages with Tom’s natal planets than if the woman’s Venus was in any other location on Tom’s birth chart. For this reason, Magi Astrology refers to the locations of Tom’s Sun, Jupiter, Neptune, Chiron and Juno as MAXIMUM LINKAGE LOCATIONS; and we refer to the woman’s Venus as MAXIMIZING LINKAGES with Tom’s chart.
Maximum Linkage Locations are areas in a natal chart where another person’s planets would make the most possible linkages to the overall natal chart. In Tom Cruise’s case, he was born with his natal Chiron at one of his Maximum Linkage Locations. This is especially important in the astrology of LOVE because Chiron rules love. If a woman has her natal Venus at one of Tom’s Maximum Linkage Locations, that woman not only makes a lot of linkages with Tom but the linkages include Romance Linkages because Chiron is a Romance Planet.
The reason this information is so useful is that we now know that Tom will most likely fall in love with a woman who has a major planet located at one of Tom’s Maximum Linkage Locations.
In fact, all of the four most important women in Tom’s love life maximize with Tom’s chart.
Below are the CACs of Tom Cruise with each of these four women.
When Tom Cruise was just beginning to become a Hollywood Superstar, he married an older woman, Mimi Rogers. Her natal Venus, a Romance Planet, was located at 12.3 degrees Pisces, one of Tom’s Maximum Linkage Locations. Mimi’s Venus formed a linkage with Tom’s Sum, Juno, Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune. They fell in love.
They married.
They fell out of love.
They fell out of love in part because Mimi is a Super Sexual woman and Tom is not a Super Sexual man. Mimi needs lots of sex and complained that their marriage was “almost never consummated.”
(Mimi is a Super Sexual woman because she was born more Juno aspects than any other type – Juno rules sex. Tom likes sex just fine but he is not as sexually driven as Mimi and could not keep up.)
After Tom Cruise divorced Nicole Kidman, he hooked up with Penelope Cruz.
Penelope’s Jupiter is at 10.9 degrees Pisces, just 1.4 degrees from Mimi’s Venus. Penelope’s Jupiter formed a linkage with Tom’s Sum, Juno, Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune. They fell in love.
They were inseparable for two years.
They never married.
They fell out of love.
The Penelope formed with Tom were not as strong as those Mimi formed with Tom because the key linking planet was Jupiter, which is not a Romance Planet. Mimi’s key linking planet was Venus, which is a Romance Planet.
And now for Katie Holmes, the only woman who bore Tom Cruise a child.
Like Mimi and Penelope, Katie was born with a major planet at one of Tom’s Maximum Linkage Locations. Katie’s natal Venus is at 14.4 degrees of Scorpio.
But even more powerful than that, Katie’s Saturn-Chiron midpoint is also at one of Tom’s Maximum Linkage Locations – at 9.7 degrees of Cancer.
As we have explained over and over on this website, the Saturn-Chiron midpoint is every bit as powerful as any planet – in some ways it is even more powerful than any other planet when it comes to making linkages and clashes. This is due to the fact that Saturn is ruler of control and dominance, and Chiron rules love and marriage, so the Saturn-Chiron midpoint is symbolic of control of love and marriage.
You would think from this that Katie would have a lot of control over Tom. And she does. But Tom also has control over Katie because his own Saturn-Chiron midpoint is trine to Katie’s natal Sun. Katie and Tom both have Saturn-Chiron midpoint linking to the other’s Sun. Those alignments form a double Saturn Bond. Both persons are in a Captivation –
Mutual Captivations are very hard to break – but they also are rarely happy marriages. That is why the tabloids are constantly talking about how unhappy they are.
But we hope they will become happy. Our best wishes go out to them.
Finally, we have Nicole Kidman, the woman Tom was with the longest, so far.
Seemingly, Nicole does not have a major planet positioned at one of Tom’s Maximum Linkage Locations. But she actually does in an upside down way.
Nicole’s natal Saturn is at 11.5 degrees of Aries. This is not a Maximum Linkage Location but it is a Maximum CLASH Location. Nicole’s Saturn is at a point in Tom’s chart such that it makes the maximum number of Clashes with Tom’s natal planets, three of them.
Saturn Clashes form Captivations. The Kidman –Cruise relationship was a Captivation. As explained in earlier links on this website, Captivations need Sexual Linkages to create the attraction. Nicole and Tom have two very powerful Sexual Linkages: Tom’s natal Mars is parallel to Nicole’s natal Venus and Pluto.
In fact, for Nicole, Tom’s natal Mars is at Nicole’s Maximum Linkage Location in the declinations. (Because at 18 degrees, a planets makes more Linkages than any other place in Nicole’s declinational chart.)
So in a different way, Tom and Nicole do maximize with each other. But here again, their planets were not aligned well enough to create lasting love. In the end, Tom deserted her.
If you are a fan of astrology, it is in part because you would like to think astrology would be there to help you when you need it.
Unfortunately, Traditional Astrology will desert you in your time of need. You cannot rely on it because it has neither the tools nor the ability to help you.
When it comes to matters of love and sex, Traditional Astrology is lost in outer space – for example, Traditional Astrology knows nothing about why Tom Cruise fell in love with these four women. And Traditional Astrology is no better at helping you with your love life.
Tom Cruise fell in love with four women born on four different Sun signs and none of these signs are “Traditionally" compatible with his own Sun sign.
That is because when it comes to and SERIOUS matter about love, sex or money, Sun signs do not matter. What matters is how the planets are aligned.
Love can happen if the planets are aligned.
Love cannot happen if the planets are not aligned.
Lifelong love can happen only if the planets are perfectly aligned each step of the way – the day you first meet, the day you first make love, the day you marry and of course the days you are born.

You should ask a Traditional Astrologer what does “time of birth” mean and whether all doctors and nurses agree.
There is no uniform definition for “exact time of birth” and doctors and nurses who write up birth certificates do not really care.
Which means that the exact time of birth found on birth certificates is NOT reliable!
